Uploading Files

I've just taken the time to devise a way for you to share your resumé, CV, statement, or other material with the rest of the class. It's nothing terribly flashy, just a site to which you can upload your files and then get an automatically generated URL to link others to the file in a blog post of comment.

I've created a community account on mediafire, which can be directly accessed at the following url: http://www.mediafire.com/coli211z

To log in, type in my gmail address (dialdfordialectic@gmail.com) and enter the following password "coli211z2010" (all lower case). Once logged in you will see an "upload files to this folder" link - click and it's self explanatory from there. Then, once you see your file is uploaded, click the "Share" tab and then click over to "embed in website" and copy the link for "HTML embed code"

Once you've generated the link, insert it into a blog post and when someone clicks on it, they will be taken to a page from which they can download your file.
